Gilia Levie
MOUNT SHASTA -- Services for Gilia Iona Levie, 84, of Dunsmuir were to be held this morning at Mount Shasta Memorlal Chapel in Mount Shasta.
Bishop Larry Shields of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mount Shasta officiated.
Interment was in Mount Shasta Memorial Park?s Garden of the Good Shepherd.
Mrs. Levie died Sunday at her home.
Born Nov. 2, 1902 in Kingston, Utah, she moved to Siskiyou County 14 years ago from Elsinore, Utah.
She is survived by husband Joseph; daughters Belva of Dunsmuir, Jeaquetta Taylor of Fountain Valley, and Dorothy Laurlha of Long Beach; sons Donald of Dunsmuir and Lester of Borrego Springs; sister Opal Hall of Bakersfield; brother Elmo Thurston of Ruth, Nev.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild,

MOUNT SHASTA -- Services for Joseph Lester Levie, 88, of Dunsmuir were to be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Mount Shasta Memorial Chapel.
Bishop Larry Shields of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mount Shasta was to officiate.
Interment will be at Mount Shasta Memorial Park.
Mr. Levie died Saturday at Weed Convalescent Hospital. Born Oct. 14, 1898, in Sevier, Utah, he moved to Siskiyou County in 1972 from Elsinore, Utah.
He was a carpenter.
He is survived by son Donald of Dunsmuir and Lester of Parayos Springs; daughters Belva of Cottonwood, Jeaquette Taylor of Mountain Valley and Dorotha Lavriha of Long Beach; brothers Ray, Clarance and Elmer Levie, all of Utah; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

COTTONWOOD -- Belva Levie, 66, of Cottonwood, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
Services were already conducted.
Born Dec. 14, 1931, in Sevier, Utah, she moved to Shasta County in 1976 from Vista.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include son Danny Jeffredo of Cottonwood; daughter Debra Creson of Redding; brothers Erroll Levie of Southern California and Donald Levie of Redding; sisters Dorotha Lauriha of Long Beach and Jeaquetta Taylor of Southern California; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.
