RANDALL. Louis L. Randall, 92, of 12 Overbrook Road, East Lyme, died Wednesday (June 11) at the New London Convalescent Home. He was born Aug. 2, 1893, in Washington, Conn., the son of Edward L. and Flora (Sackett) Randall. He was a partner of the W.L. Hall Distributing Co. of Waterbury and later owned the Randall Bros. Wholesale Fruit and Produce in Waterbury and Randall Bros. General Store in Shelton. He was a 1910 graduate of the Gunnery, Washington, Conn., and was a member of St. Matthias Church. He was the husband of the late Irene (Luddy) Randall, He is survived by three sons, John L. Randall of East Lyme, Atty. Warren S. Randall of West Hartford and S. Bruce Randall of Cheshire; a daughter, Marilyn Belden Levesque of Deltona, Fla.; a sister, Marilla Randall of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., from the East Lyme Funeral Home of Alderson-Prentls, Lake Avenue, Niantic, followed by a mass of Christian burial, 11 a.m., in St. Matthias Church. Interment will be at 1 p.m. In St. Joseph's New Cemetery, Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, 9-10:30 a.m. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made, In his memory, to the East Lyme Ambulance Association, Grand Street, Niantic, or to a charity of the donor's choice.

RANDALL, Warren Sackett
Warren Sackett Randall, 71, of West Hartford, died suddenly Friday (February 4, 2000). Born in Waterbury on May 10, 1928, he was the son of the late Louis Randall and Irene Randall. Warren was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family was always his top priority and his greatest source of fulfillment. He was simply, "the best." After graduating cum laude in three years from Brown University in 1949, Warren served with the U.S. Naval Reserve and started his career as an electrical engineer with General Electric Company. While studying at the University of Connecticut School of Law, he worked as an engineer for Northeast Utilities. For over 40 years, Warren thoroughly enjoyed serving his clients in the practice of law in Hartford, most recently with Shipman & Goodwin. His clients were his friends. Warren was an active member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford Tax Club. He was listed in the Trusts and Estates section of the publication of the "Best Lawyers in America and was admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court. Warren was a charter member and a past President of the Hartford Estate and Business Planning Counsel. He previously served as a director and as President of the St. Francis Hospital Association and as a President of Mercy Guild. Warren was a dedicated member of his longtime parish, St. Timothy's Church. In addition to practicing law, Warren pursued many activities including tennis and golf (often at the Hartford Golf Club) and boating and skiing. Warren is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Amy Keefe Randall; and his six devoted children and their spouses, Dr. Mary E. Randall and her husband, Dr. Lawrence Neureither of Simsbury, Dr. W. Stephen Randall of West Hartford, Amy R. Lynch, Esq. and her husband, Daniel E. Lynch, Jr., Esq. of West Hartford, Margaret R. Brodeur, Esq. and her husband, Christopher T. Brodeur of Glastonbury, Patricia R. Taylor and her husband, John P. Taylor of West Hartford, and Christine Randall Collins, Esq. and her husband, John Matthew Collins of Boston, MA. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph Gregory Randall. He will be missed by his twelve grandchildren, Amy Casey Neureither, Megan Neureither, Lauren Neureither, Christopher Randall, James Randall, Daniel Lynch, K. Casey Lynch, Amy Lynch, Kathryn Brodeur, Christopher Brodeur, Jr., Mary Brodeur and Christine Taylor. Warren is also survived by his brother, Bruce Randall; and his sister, Marilyn Belden; and was predeceased by his brother, John L. Randall.The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 8, from 5-8 p.m., at Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, at St. Timothy Church, 1116 North Main Street, West Hartford. Burial will follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Timothy's Church, St. Francis Hospital Association, or Loaves and Fishes in Hartford.

RANDALL. John L. Randall, 69, of 12 Overbrook Drive, East Lyme, died Sunday (Oct. 18, 1993) at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, New London. He was employed at General Dynamics in Qulncy, Mass. and Groton for 34 years. He retired in 1989. He married Velma Keefe in Waterbury, June 28, 1947, she survives. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a 1942 graduate of Crosby High School in Waterbury, and Brown University in 1945 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1955. He was an active member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and Chairperson of the Canoe Committee, and led 12 trips to Europe and two to Hawaii. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Parks and Forest Commission. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, John B. Randall of Old Saybrook, and William M. Randall of Waterford; three daughters, Irene Ann Gibbs of Carlsbad, Calif., Randee Randall of Deep River, Susan L. Weaver of New London; two brothers, Warren S. Randall of West Hartford, and Bruce S. Randall of Brooklyn; and a sister, Marilyn O1sen of Deltona, Fla., 11 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., in Thursday, Oct. 21, 1993, at St. Matthias Church. Burial will be in East Lyme Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, Lake Avenue, Niantic, Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Donations may be made In his memory to the United Way of Southeastern Conn., P.O. East Lyme, CT - Velma Randall, of Overbrook Rd., East Lyme passed away quietly on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Bridebrook Health and Rehabilition Center accompanied by her five children.
Mrs. Randall was born on July 8, 1924, in Waterbury, she was the daughter of Bernard and Ann Daly Keefe. She married John L. Randall on June 28, 1947, in Waterbury, he predeceased her in October of 1993.
Mrs. Randall was an avid hiker who loved the outdoors and the beach. Most of all she was a loving wife and devoted mother who supported her family in all that they did and showered them with her unconditional love.
Mrs. Randall is survived by her two sons, John B. Randall of Old Saybrook and William Randall of Springfield, Va.; her three daughters, Irene Gibbs of Carlsbad, Calif., Randee Jermainne of Deep River and Susan Weaver of New London; her sister, Claire Brennan of Branford; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Manko and brother, Dr. Raymond Keefe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2009, in St. Matthias Church in East Lyme. Interment will follow in East Lyme Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic, CT 06357. A Rosary Service will be held one hour prior to the Calling Hours at 5 p.m.
