Robin L. Sackett Garriott Conrad, 67, of Erie, IL, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 PM Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Gibson ? Bode Funeral Home, Erie. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday in the Erie Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Gibson ? Bode Funeral Home, Erie, to offset funeral expenses.
Robin was born September 19, 1953 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Clifford Sackett and Lois Minnick. She married Dennis Garriott in 1971 and later Michael Conrad on August 11, 1976. She worked as a waitress and cook in various restaurants over the years. Robin enjoyed remodeling houses, sewing, making clothes for the kids, fishing, camping, watching the birds and going shopping. She loved her dogs, and she cherished her title, Grandma Grape.
Robin is survived by her daughters, Denise Moore-Stablein (John Stablein), Brandi Leech (Pete Kurasz), Connie (Jason) Jacobs, all of Erie; sisters, Theresa Minnick-Ressen, Lynda Cripps, Kelly Finley; brothers, Richard Sackett and Mike Fuller; grandchildren, Melissa Moore, Matthew Moore, Amber Brackemyer, Kyle Stablein, Brandon Conrad, Collen Conrad, Bobbi-Jo Leech, Kaden Leech, Jessika Kurasz, Martin Kurasz, Drew Delp-Conrad, Kadin Jacobs, Jaicyann Jacobs; several great-grandchildren with two more on the way; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Deno Printy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Michael Conrad; sons-in-law, Scott Moore and Bob Leech; grandchildren, Samantha Stablein and Taylar Jacobs; great grandson, Brantley Delp; and brother, John Fuller.

Michael J. Conrad, 58, of Erie, IL, died suddenly Monday, March 7, 2016 at his home. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Gibson ? Bode Funeral Home, Erie. Visitation will be from 1:00 ? 3:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in the Erie Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
Michael James Conrad was born August 28, 1957 in Moline, IL, the son of James Michael and Carol Sue Conrad. He served his country in the US Navy near the end of the Vietnam War. He married Robin L. (Sackett) Garriott on August 11, 1976. He was a ?jack of all trades? working most of his life in the construction industry.
Mike was a devout Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He enjoyed fishing, and playing cards and games. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his practical jokes and ?speaking his own language?. Mike cherished his dogs and had a love for dolphins.
He is survived by his wife, Robin; father, James M. Conrad; children, Brandi Sue Leech (Pete), Connie Jo (Jason) Jacobs, Denise (John) Stablein; siblings, Anita (Bud) Hunter, Tom Conrad, Vickie (Jimmie) Nicewanner, Beth (John) Ronnau; half-sister, Shelly (Mike) Engelkens; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Sue; sons-in-law, Scott Moore and Robert Leech; grandchildren, Taylar Jacobs and Samantha Stablein; and a brother, John Scott.
