Donna L. Kissack, 70, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, May 27, 2013 at Heritage Living Center in St. Paul, Nebraska.
Donna was born January 13, 1943 in Scottsbluff, NE to Owen and Neva (Olsen) Scott.
She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1961.
After high school she took some college courses at WNCC and then followed her heart and married Art Kissack on June 28, 1962 in Scottsbluff.
She and Art started their married life in Laramie, Wyoming where Donna actively supported her husband as he earned his college degree and played football. One year later they started their family. Donna was able to be a stay at home mom for several years for daughter Julie and son Shaun.
Later, she worked as a teacher?s aide for Cheyenne Public Schools, Director of the Ogallala Senior Citizen?s Center, Secretarial positions in both Ogallala and Scottsbluff, and as an Assistant Social Services Director for Beverly Nursing Home in Scottsbluff.
Donna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She served as a Deacon and was a Stephen Minister for many years. She enjoyed fellowshipping with others in the small groups that were apart of her church.
Donna thoroughly enjoyed people. She was involved in card clubs and book clubs and loved going on outings with her friends. She always looked forward to her trips with her close friends from high school. She was an organizer and a planner. She took great pride in planning and organizing high school reunions and family gatherings. Watching the Denver Broncos and listening to high school football games on the radio was something she always looked forward to doing. She was definitely an avid sports fan. She supported her husband in all of his years of coaching and watched as many of her grandchildren?s sporting events as she could.
This past year, she enjoyed watching Tiger Woods in his golf tournaments. Every year she eagerly anticipated the start of Dancing with the Stars. She enjoyed watching all of the dances and picking her favorite competitors.
Her husband, Arthur Kissack, her parents, sister Elaine Ellis, and two infant brothers, preceded Donna in death.
Cremation, Burial unknown.

Neva M. Scott, 87, of Gering, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at Heritage Estates.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Central Church of Christ, Gering, with Pastors Lyle Hinebauch and Herb Rainey officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Gering Memorial Chapel.
Memorials may be given to the Central Church of Christ or Prairie Haven Hospice. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.geringchapel.com .
Neva was born to a pioneer family on the ranch to Chris L. and Neta M. (Decker) Olsen on April 27, 1922. Neva attended Banner County schools and graduated from high school with the Class of 1941. She married Owen Scott on Jan. 5, 1942, in Alliance. They farmed for many years and had their own trucking business. Neva worked at J.C. Penney's and for Mulbergers. She was also a foster grandparent at Longfellow grade school in Scottsbluff for 11 years. Neva enjoyed and loved people.
Neva was a campfire leader and belonged to the PTA when her children were in grade school. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her hobbies were ceramics, china painting, and scrapbooking. Neva enjoyed game shows.
Survivors include her daughters Donna Kissack, Scottsbluff, Marilynn (Gary) Knaub, Ogallala and Barbara (James) Lee, North Platte; grandchildren, Julie (Kevin) (Kissack) Armstrong, Grand Island, Shaun (Cathy) Kissack, Sidney, Shelley Knaub, Ogallala, Scott (Mary) Knaub, Ogallala, Spencer Knaub, Denver and Marissa Lee, Telluride, Colo.; ten great-grandchildren and brother-in-law Rueben Ruhl, Scottsbluff.
She was preceded in death by her husband Owen; infant sons James and Bruce; stepdaughter Elaine Ellis; son-in-law Arthur Kissack; her parents Chris and Neta Olsen; brother Clifford Olsen; sisters Rena Anderson and Helen Ruhl and two infant sisters Dorothy and Betty.

Donna L. Kissack, 70, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, May 27, at Heritage Living Center in St. Paul, Ne-braska. Her memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Brad Gustafson officiating. Cremation was held at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home in Grand Island, NE. Memorials may be made to either Prairie Haven Hos-pice or to Asera Care Hospice. Scott-Olsen Marriage Is Held Monday
Neva Mae Olsen of Harisburg and Robert Owen Scott of Lyman, Neb. were united In marriage Monday in Alliance at the courthouse. County Judge Penrose E. Romig read the marriage lines. Nell Johnstone and Marjorie Romig acted as witnesses.
