Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, for Mrs. Maggie Brown, 82, of 3256 Marshall Rd., Kettering who died Sunday in a nursing home there. Burial will be in Bellbrook Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jeannette Gross of Kettering; one son, Nelson Brown of Dayton, and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m Tuesday.

She graduated from Fairmont High School then worked approximately 10 years for Red Star Yeast and Products in Dayton , then a short time for Reynolds and Reynolds. The family moved to Kettering where she worked in a grocery/feed store with her parents.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and one son (John) . She is survived by one son (Robert) and grandson (Travis McFall).
She will be missed by all who knew and loved here. Burial at Bellbrook Cemetery.

The wedding of Miss Laura Jeannette Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Brown of Wilmington av., and Francis Henry Gross, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Gross of Erie av., took place Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock in Holy Trinity parsonage. Rev. Herman J. Leising performed the double ring ceremony.
Bernard J. Gross attended his brother as best man.
Mrs. Clarence W. Gross served as matron of honor and Miss Dorothy Pleasant was bridesmaid. The matron of honor wore a Dresden blue metallic trimmed wool dress, black accessories and a corsage of yellow roses and chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid's frock was of Dresden rose wool, with metallic trim and she also had black accessories and a corsage of yellow ruses and chrysanthemums.
The bride chose for her wedding a metallic-trimmed aqua wool dress, black hat, matching accessories and a corsage of roses and carnations.
The mother of the bride wore for the wedding a green crepe dress, black accessories and a corsage of pink and white car-nations. The bridegroom's mother wore a blue black crepe dress, black accessories and a corsage of pink and red carnations.
A wedding dinner followed by a reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents. Following a brief wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Gross will make their home at 6145 Wilmington av.
