      DR. EMILE HOHN, 63, DIES; HAAREN HIGH PROFESSOR

      Dr. Emile Hohn, a member of the faculty of the Haaren High School in Manhattan, died Thursday at the Brooklyn Naval Hospital after an illness of three months. He was 63 and lived at 739 Neck Road.

      Dr. Hohn formerly was an assistant engineer in the Fire Department and also served overseas with the 2d Division of engineers during the World War.

      He entered the education system after he returned from the war and received his master's degree and doctorate of philosophy from New York University, He also taught in the Abraham Lincoln High School here.

      A native of Yorktown, Texas, he was a member of the American Legion and Minerva Lodge, F. & A. M.

      Dr. Hohn is survived by his widow, Beulah Brown Hohn; a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Raulerson; a grandson, Stephen; five brothers and a sister.

      Services will be held at 8:30 p.m. today at the Falrchlld Chapel, 86 Lefferts Place.

      One of the first of the June weddings occurred on Saturday, June 1, at 22 St. John's place, at the residence of the bride, who was Miss Beulah May Brown. Both bride and bridegroom are from the South. The bridegroom, Emil Hohn, comes from Texas, and Mrs. Hohn is a Georgia girl.

      The ceremony, which took place at 9 o'clock in the morning, was a noticeably pretty one, the Rev. J. M. Garvin of Philadelphia officiating. The bride was given away by her mother. The ceremony was witnessed only by relatives and the most intimate friends of the young couple. The bridal party included Mr. and Mrs. Hohn, Mrs. Anna Brown, Miss Beatrice Oliver Nash, maid of honor; Miss Hazel Brown and Miss Eva R. Palmer bridesmaids. Albert L. Prannmuller, best man, and G. Van Buren and Louis Heine, ushers.
