Mrs. Ogden Of Lincoln, 39; Civic Leader
LINCOLN -- Mrs. Joan (Anable) Ogden, 39, of Lincoln rd., civic leader here, died unexpectedly Friday at Massachusetts General Hospital.
She was the wife of David Ogden, vice-president of Thorndike, Doran, Paine & Lewis, investment counsel of Boston and Atlanta.
Born in New York City, Mrs. Ogden resided in Lincoln for 15 years. A graduate of Milton Academy, she attended Radcliffe College. She was active in civic affairs in Lincoln, serving the Lincoln Co-operative Nursery School and was a onetime member of the board of the League of Women Voters in Lincoln. She was also active in First Parish Church here.
She also leaves two daughters, Ann B. and Linda S. Ogden, and a son, Samuel N. Ogden, all of Lincoln; her mother, Mrs. Barton Anable of Dublin, N.H.; a brother, Anthony Anable Jr., also of Dublin, and her father, Anthony Anable of Stamford, Ct.
Services will be held at noon Monday in First Parish Church, Lincoln.
