      Norma (Sackett) Furnal

      AUBURN | Norma (Sackett) Furnal passed away peacefully on Nov. 14, 2013 in Carson City, Nev.

      She was born on Jan. 20, 1931 in West Bloomfield, N.Y. to Joseph and Beatrice Sackett. Norma is survived by her partner of 40 years, Michael Perna; her children, Bradley (Gloria) Furnal, Richard (Terry) Furnal, Ann (Scott) Hess, Debbie (Bob) Ryan and David (Audrana) Furnal and their father, Raymond (Annette) Furnal; her brother, Bernard (Gay) Sackett; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

      Norma worked as a bookkeeper for P&C Food Markets in Auburn. She moved to Carson City in 1978, worked for the Chamber of Commerce and volunteered as a tax preparer for the senior center until she retired in 1997. She enjoyed spoiling her cats, gardening, cooking, decorating and dancing.

      A private family service will be held at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., Honeoye Falls, N.Y. Interment will take place in North Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450.       HONEOYE FALLS -- Honeoye Falls: April 16, 2020. Gay, loving wife and mother passed away peacefully at the age of 77 in her home in Bloomfield, NY. Predeceased by her parents, Eleanor and Avery Lusk, brother William Lusk and grandson Alex Sackett. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bernard J. Sackett; daughter Wendy (Philip) Rapp; sons Brian Lusk, Joel (Elizabeth) Sackett and Kent Sackett; grand-children, Luke (Kari) Haravitch, Ben Haravitch, Korinne Sackett, Cody Sackett, Kyle Sackett and 2 great-grandchildren and brothers, Robert (Beverly) Lusk and Randall (Linda) Lusk.

      Gay?s greatest joys were her family and friends. She devoted her life to providing a home of love and comfort to her husband and children and enjoyed many close friendships that lasted her whole life. Her beautiful smile will remain in our hearts forever. A celebration of Gay?s life will be held at a later date to be determined.
