      Klapp-Remark

      THE WEDDING and reception for Kristine Kay Klapp and Thomas P. Remark were Saturday in High st. Christian Church.

      Cindy Farris of Cuyahoga Falls was maid of honor for the bride, daughter of Mrs. Burton C. Klapp, 2512 Third st., Cuyahoga Falls.

      Bridesmaids were Becky Klapp of Irwin, Pa. ; and Deb-by Cunningham and Mrs. William Klapp, the bride's sister-in-law, both of Cuyahoga Falls.

      Denise Beatty was flower girl and William Grove, ring-bearer. Both are of Cuyahoga Falls.

      Robert Baldino was best man. James Tulip, Robert White and Kirt Sutliff seated guests.

      Jenifer Rachele Levandoski and Geoffrey Alan Remark were married yesterday in High Street Chris tian Church, Akron.

      The bride is the daughter of Susan Levandoski, Akron and Robert Levandoski, Hinckley. The bridegroom is the son of Kristine and Thomas Remark, Cuyahoga Falls. The matron of honor was Kary Moore. The best man was Jason Anderson.

      Thomas Paul Remark

      CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Thomas Paul Remark, 67, is now running a marathon with the angels, having passed away March 23, 2014.

      Mr. Remark was born in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Buchtel High School in 1964 and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from the United States Postal Service in 2010 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Church Bowling League for 30 years along with the Summit Athletic Running Club for 30 years. He was a life member of the High Street Christian Church where he served several terms as a deacon and was a member of the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.

      He was a quiet, gentle soul, known for his quick wit and love of running, completing four marathons. He also loved music, sports, traveling, photography, and doing yard work. He was genuine family man.

      Preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Paul Remark; he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kristine; children, Trisha Remark of Rocky River, Geoff (Cara Frazier) of Silver Lake; grandchildren, Gabriel, Taryn, Myah, and Hunter; brothers, Don and David; brothers-in-law, Bill and Burt Klapp; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

      Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 27 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, Chaplain Joseph Lee officiating.
