R. C. Klapp Dies At Mercy Sunday
Raymond Cletus Klapp, 42, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Klapp, residing at 715 South Anderson street, died at 7:15 o'clock Sunday morning at the Mercy hospital following a two weeks' illness. Mr. Klapp was removed to the hospital Saturday evening.
The deceased was born in Elwood on July 11, 1897. He was married to Miss Hazel Sackett. Mr. Klapp was in the insurance business, and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving with the parents, are two sons, Burton Klapp and Raymond Klapp, Jr., and one sister, Mrs. Raymond Striker, of this city.
The body was removed to the Copher and Fesler funeral home where it will remain.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the funeral home with Rev. D. D. McColl, pastor of the East Main Street Christian Church, in charge. Burial will follow in the city cemetery.
