      Duane Elmer Ott, 58, of Elk Grove, passed away on Thursday at the home of his son.

      He lived in Vallejo for 25 years and Vacaville for 20 years.

      Duane was born in Canyonville, Ore.

      Duane served his country in the United States Air Force. He was employed for 30 years as a service technician in communications.

      Duane is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Ott, in 2004; brother, Willam Ott; and his father, Willard Ott.

      Duane is survived by his sons, Duane A. (Tovah) Ott of Elk Grove; Jason L. (Isabel) Ott of Vacaville; his daughter, Tannie M. (Adam) Brantley of Cedar Hill, Texas; his mother, Gladys Ott of Sacramento; seven grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters.

      Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 31, at 10 a.m., at Skyview Funeral Chapel, Burial to follow at Skyview Memorial Lawn, both at 200 Rollingwood Drive, Vallejo.

      Arrangements are by Skyview Memorial Lawn, Vallejo, 644-7474.
