      Dean Peterson

      Dean Peterson, 68, of Indianola died Monday,June 6, 1988 at Mountain View Hospital in Payson following a long illness.

      He was born June 2, 1920 in Indianola, a son of George Franklin and Nancy Jane Shepherd Peterson. He married Thela Mae Sackett March 5, 1942 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died May 15, 1979.

      Survivors include three sons and four daughters: Mrs. Lawrence (Edith) Fitch, Lovell.WY; Mrs. Shela Davis, Spanish Fork; Marton Peterson, Provo; Joseph Peterson, Indianola; Mrs. David (Mary) Pace and Earl Peterson, both Spring Lake; Mrs. Larry (Phyllis) Hawley, Mapleton; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters: Wallace Peterson, Indianola; Mrs. Ada Syndergaard, Mt. Pleasant; Rayfield Peterson, Provo: Mrs. Leif (Rachel) Greco, Sandy; Mrs. Ned (Virginia) Rusich, Murray.

      Burial was in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

      David Joseph Pace, 65, passed away July 16, 2012 at home.

      During his last days, he was surrounded by those he loved most dearly, his loving wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

      He was born December 27, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert George and Mildred Shirley Jones Pace.

      David married his eternal sweetheart, Mary Susann Peterson on June 7, 1968 in the Manti LDS Temple and they are the parents of three children. He retired from the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad after 25 years, where he was a Locomotive Engineer.

      He loved camping and fishing, deer hunting, and hiking. David also enjoyed collecting antiques, swap meets, car shows, yard sales, and license plate shows. His family was his greatest joy in life and his favorite times were spent with them. David was always willing to lend a hand wherever he was needed and enjoyed serving others.

      David is survived by his wife, Mary; children, David Lee Pace, Springville; James Lamar Pace, Payson; and Summer Pace Robnett, Springville. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Pace.

      Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Spring Lake 1st Ward Chapel, 12625 S. Spring Lake Rd., Spring Lake, Utah. Family and friends may call on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Spring Lake 1st Ward Building and on Friday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to services.

      Interment will be at the Payson City Cemetery.

      Survivors: husband; three sons, four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Edith) Fitch, Orem; Mrs. Bobby (Sheila) Eikler, Ontario, Ore.; Morton, Spanish Fork; Joseph Jr., Grants Pass, Ore.; Mrs David (Mary) Pace, Glade Park, Colo.; Earl Conrad, Payson; Mrs. Larry (Phyllis) Hawley, Denver, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Harley Hawkin, Montrose, Colo.; brother, sister, Willam E., Mrs Frank (Ruth) Young, both Salt Lake City.

      Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., Benjamin Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Walker Mortauary (sic), Spanish Fork, Friday, 7-9 p m and Saturday at the ward chape1 prior to services. Interment, Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

      Mary Susann Peterson Pace
      1949 - 2015

      Our devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, Mary Susann Peterson Pace, of Spring Lake, Utah passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Mary was born December 31, 1949 in Spanish Fork to Dean and Thela Sackett Peterson.

      She married her sweetheart, David Joseph Pace on June 7, 1968 in the Manti LDS Temple. They were blessed with three children and she devoted her life to her family. As a talented homemaker, Mary provided a comfortable, nurturing environment in her home. She loved crafts, especially cross stitch, fabric painting, sewing, and quilting, as well as shopping. Mary had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh, always bringing a smile to everyone. She will be greatly missed.

      Mary is survived by her children, David Lee (Denise) Pace, Springville; James Lamar Pace, Payson; and Summer Pace (Steve) Robnett, Springville. She also leaves behind thirteen adoring grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, as well as three brothers and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, her parents, and a brother.
