Dean Peterson
Dean Peterson, 68, of Indianola died Monday,June 6, 1988 at Mountain View Hospital in Payson following a long illness.
He was born June 2, 1920 in Indianola, a son of George Franklin and Nancy Jane Shepherd Peterson. He married Thela Mae Sackett March 5, 1942 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died May 15, 1979.
Survivors include three sons and four daughters: Mrs. Lawrence (Edith) Fitch, Lovell.WY; Mrs. Shela Davis, Spanish Fork; Marton Peterson, Provo; Joseph Peterson, Indianola; Mrs. David (Mary) Pace and Earl Peterson, both Spring Lake; Mrs. Larry (Phyllis) Hawley, Mapleton; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters: Wallace Peterson, Indianola; Mrs. Ada Syndergaard, Mt. Pleasant; Rayfield Peterson, Provo: Mrs. Leif (Rachel) Greco, Sandy; Mrs. Ned (Virginia) Rusich, Murray.
Burial was in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

Early Life: He was born November 14, 1940, in Milford, Utah, to Harold and Vera Fitch. He grew up with two brothers, Bob and Bill. His mother remarried Jim O?Neil and he gained two more brothers, Mark and Frank. They moved frequently throughout Utah due to his father's work on the railroad.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: He married the love of his life, Edith Mae Peterson, on May 27, 1961, in Thistle, Utah. They were blessed with three beautiful children: Chris, Tammy (Wendell) Olsen and Steve (Corrinna). They raised their family in Orem, Utah. He has nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He taught his children to love the outdoors, teaching them hunting, fishing, camping and hiking. He had a lot of accomplishments in his life; he was a master craftsman by trade, which he taught his children and grandchildren to love. He was a "jack of all trades" and could teach himself any new talent he chose to explore. He loved reading, writing, painting, carving wood, model railroads, gold prospecting and motorcycle riding. Lawrence Elliot Fitch passed away February 20, 2017, in St. George, Utah.

Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., Benjamin Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Walker Mortauary (sic), Spanish Fork, Friday, 7-9 p m and Saturday at the ward chape1 prior to services. Interment, Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
