      William M. Snyder, 77, of Versailles Road, Irving died Tuesday, October 26th, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. He was born in the Town of Hanover on March 15, 1933, the son of the late Rosell W. & Ethel (Seeley) Snyder.
      Mr. Snyder attended Silver Creek Central School and served as a Sergeant with the U.S. Army as a Radio Operator, receiving many awards, during the Korean Conflict. He worked as an Operating Engineer for Benchley Contracting & Crane Rental Corp., Silver Creek, and he also owned & operated a small grape farm & worked as a crane operator for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., Lackawanna. He was a member of American Legion Post #148, Silver Creek, the NRA & St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Forestville.
      Survivors include his wife Ann M. (Roetzer) Snyder of Irving, whom he married on Sept. 4, 1954, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Silver Creek, a son, William (Kay) Snyder, of Apalachian, NY, a sister, Edith Snyder Moore, of Silver Creek, 5 grandchildren- Sara, Peter & Chrissey, Brett, Sharon & Cynthia, 2 great grandchildren- Aleisha Stevens & Casey Cheresnowsky and many nieces & nephews.
      There will be no visitation observed. A Memorial Mass will be held from St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Center Street, Forestville, on Saturday, November 6th, at 11 o'clock, with Rev. Daniel F. Fiebelkorn, pastor officiating.
      Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Rathbun Cemetery, Town of Hanover. The family requests no flowers.

      Constance Lord, worked at BayBank

      FRANKLIN -- Constance M. (Synder) Lord, 81, a longtime Franklin resident, died Monday in St. Vincent Hospital Worcester Medical Center following a long illness.

      Born in Irving, N.Y., she was educated in New York and lived in Franklin for almost 40 years.

      Mrs. Lord worked as a customer representative and sales manager at the former Norfolk County Trust Co. and BayBank in Franklin until she retired.

      She enjoyed cooking, gardening, ceramics, animals, and entertaining family and friends in her home.

      Wife of the late Herbert R. Jr., she leaves a son, Herbert Richard III of Tusla, Okla.; a daughter, Melanie L. Vertuca of Holliston; a brother, William M. Snyder of Irving; a sister, Edith Moore of Silver Creek, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

      A funeral service was held Friday in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial was in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.
