Funeral for Jimmie Tient McQuary, 69, of Decatur will be Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis Sanders officiating.
Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. McQuary, who died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Parkway Medical Center, was born June 12, 1939, in Kentucky. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church. His wife, Sherry McQuary, and his son, Shannon McQuary, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughter, Kandice Fortner, and her husband, Eric, of Decatur; daughter-in-law, Jennifer McQuary of Hartselle; sister, Sandy Singleton of Orlando, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Kayla Kilpatric, Jessica McQuary, Samantha McQuary, Maison McQuary and Xain Fortner.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Sherry V. McQuary, 45, of Hartselle will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Sanders officiating.
Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. McQuary died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000, at home. She was born March 24, 1954, in Morgan County to Carl Luther and Shirley Faye Black Wallace. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy T. McQuary; one son, Shannon McQuary of Decatur; one daughter, Kandice McQuary of Hartselle; four brothers, Robert Phelan and Redmond Phelan, both of Roswell, Ga., Allan Wallace of Georgia and Charles Wallace of Hartselle; her stepmother, Linda Wallace of Hartselle; and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Steven Kilpatric, Scott Grey, Lon C. Dunn, Benji Partlow, Anthony Partlow and Jason Sapp.

Hartselle Funeral service for Shannon Edgar McQuary, 34, of Hartselle will be Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Virgil Crisp officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. McQuary, who died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital, was born April 29, 1973, in Decatur. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, a 1990 graduate of Danville High School, brother of the Steamfitters & Pipefitters Local No. 377 and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club of Decatur. Shannon had a big heart and has touched many hearts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sheri Virginia Wallace McQuary.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer McQuary; son, Shannon Maison McQuary of Hartselle; two daughters, Jessica Malynn McQuary and Samantha Morgan McQuary, both of Hartselle; father, Jimmie Tient McQuary of Decatur; fatherin-law and mother-in-law, David and Valerie Leapley of Kentucky; three brothersin-law, Monty Dodson of Tri-nity, Joshua Leapley of Kentucky and Eric Fortner of Decatur; one sister, Kandice Fortner McQuary of Decatur; two sisters-in-law, Jodi Dean of Kentucky and Julie Dodson of Trinity; nieces, Sara and Christina Dean of Kentucky, Kayla Kilpatrick and Xain Fortner, both of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Monty Dodson, Joshua Leapley, John Zachary Lott, Eric Fortner, Kenneth Ward and Monty Poole.
