Napa Hotel. December 37. 1887.
Thomas Price, Chemist, San Francisco--Dear Sir: I left in your office on December 22 thirty ounces of gold-plating waste, with instructions to send cash returns by Wells Fargo a Co. to this place, and I think in this case you neglected your usual prompt manner of doing business and making returns, as I have heard nothing from you so far. Please let me hear from you at once.
