Belfast ? Ronald T. Snell, 57, died Feb. 13, 1992, at the Togus VA hospital. He was born at Vallejo, CA, April 22, 1934, the son of Elmer T. and Lucille B (Kennedy) Snell.
He was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the U. S. Air Force after 21 years of service. He also retired from the state of Florida after 10 years as a correctional officer. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Churchill) Snell of Belfast; two sons, Douglas L. and Donald L., both of Caribou; one daughter, Jacqueline A. Shaw of Easton; four grandchildren; Kelley, Travis and Michelle Snell, and Jasmyn Shaw; two aunts, Louise Penderson and Virginia Secor, both of San Diego.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rackliffe Funeral Home in Belfast with the Rev. Horace Varnum officiating. (Bangor Daily News Feb. 1992)
