ESTHER L. BOYD, age 94 formerly of Jordan Rd., Lewisburg, Ohio, died Saturday, August 9, 1997 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on February 10, 1903 in Preble County, Ohio, she was the daughter of Wilfred C. & Flora Alice (Hapner) Hoblit. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg and was a volunteer at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. Preceded in death by Husband: Jacob R. Boyd in 1975; Brothers: Ernest, Orville and Harold Hoblit.
Survivors: Daughter & Son in law: Alice B. & James A. Lupinske, Germantown, OH; Sisters in law: Catharine (Boyd) Wheeler, Port Orange, FL; Florence Hoblit, Camden, OH; Mildred Hoblit, CA; Sylvia Hoblit, Greenville, OH; Grandchildren: Martha Lupinske, Lois J. (Allan) Meyer; Nancy A. (Boyd) Underwood; Great Grandchildren: Rachel Meyer, Natalie Meyer; Holly Underwood.
Private Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 11, 1997 at the convenience of the family with Rev James N. Lehman officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg.
