MRS, SUSAN HOBLIT STRICKEN BY DEATH IN PIQUA HOSPITAL
Mother of Dayton Insurance Man Dies; Funeral to Be Held Wednesday.
Funeral services of Mrs. Sarah Hoblit, 87, mother of B. F. Hoblit, Dayton insurance man and broker, will be held at Piqua on Wednesday at 10 a. m. Mrs. Hoblit died Monday at 6 a.m. at the Piqua hospital.
She was taken to the hospital Sunday morning for treatment for complication of diseases and walked from the auto into the building without assistance. Her death was sudden and unexpected, and no one but a nurse was at the bedside when she died.
Mrs. Hoblit, who was born near Beavertown, was a member of the John and Prugh families, well known in this vicinity. Her maiden name was Sarah John.
Beside the son, B. F. Hoblit, she is survived by three other sons Charles A. Hoblit. Lightsville; Perry W. Hoblit, of Piqua; Wilfred G. Hoblit, Eaton; and one daughter, Mrs. Nettie B. Robison, of Piqua. One son, J. M. Hoblit, of Covington, O., died last October. Mrs. Hoblit has been a widow for 28 years. One sister, .Mrs, Johanna Jones, of Beavertown, and a brother. W. J. Johnson, of Chicago, Ill., also survive.
Mrs. Hoblit was a devout Christian and was well beloved for her beautiful character and cheerful disposition and spirit of helpfulness toward others, whose happiness she made her own.
