      Schaefer-Sackeft Rites

      GREENFIELD -- Miss Ilah Gail Sackett became the bride of Merle E. Schaefer, May in St. John's Catholic church Greenfield, when the Eev. K. Flood officiated.

      The bride is the daughter Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Sackett and the bridegroom is the of F. E, Schaefer, all of Greenfield.

      Ushering were Earl Schaefer and Frank Sackett and Miss Anne Lahey was soloist.

      Miss Mary Lahey was of honor and Richard Cullen served as best man.

      A reception followed the ceremony at the home of bride's parents, when Miss Arlene Sackett had charge of guest book. The couple left on a short wedding trip and will be home on a farm near Greenfield.

      The bride taught for two years in Adair county and bridegroom served'18 months In the army.
