      Mrs. Arthur Reeser

      WATEHBURY - Mrs. Aline E. Reeser, 53, of 1702 Thomaston Ave., wife of Arthur Reeser, died at Waterbury Hospital Sunday morning shortly after being admitted. Medical Examiner, Dr. Joseph Daly, attributed death to natural causes.

      Born in Marseilles, Ill., Dec. 2. 1919, daughter of Mrs. Nancy Campbell and the late Robert Youngling. She was a resident of Waterbury for the past 13 years. She also was a former Naugatuck resident.

      Besides her mother and husband, Mrs. Reeser leaves three sons. David of Oakville, Lawrence of Naugatuck, and Richard of Southbury; three brothers, Robert, Paul and Walter Youngling: one sister, Mrs. Robert Babcock, all of Illinois; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

      The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Fitzgerald - Zembruski - Sgcillo Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, with the Rev. Samuel Budde, officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery. Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. Friends are asked to omit flowers.

      Arthur R. Reeser

      STREATOR (PNS) - Arthur R. Reeser, 64, of Waterbury, Conn., formerly of Streator, died Tuesday.

      A private service took place yesterday in Connecticut.

      Arrangements were handled by Fitzgerald-Zembruski-Segrillo Funeral Home, Naugatuck, Conn.

      Mr. Reeser was born in 1918, in Mendota, a son of William and Richardine Facket (sic) Reeser. He married Aileen Youngling, who preceded him in death.

      Surviving are three sons, David, Larry and Richard, all of Connecticut; two brothers, Carlos, Streator; and Lawrence Hornburger, Florida; three sisters, Barbara LePard, Streator; Ida Mae Wilson, Ottawa; and Madge Swanson, Chicago; two stepsisters, Ramona Long and Jeanne Reinmann, both of Streator; and seven grandchildren.

      A daughter and two brothers preceded him in death.

      Oakville - Mr. David A. Reeser, age 76, of Oakville, died Saturday August 16, 2014 in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the loving husband for 56 years of Marlene (Karvelis) Reeser.

      Mr. Reeser was born in Marsaielles, Illinois on April 9, 1938 a son of the late Arthur R. and Arline (Youngling) Reeser. Before his retirement, he worked for many years as a header operator.

      Mr. Reeser was a United States Navy veteran having proudly served in Hawaii and New London.

      In addition to his wife, Mr. Reeser is survived by three sons: David A. Reeser, Jr., James Reeser and Robert Reeser all of Oakville, two brothers: Lawrence Reeser and his wife Lorraine of Amston, Ct. and Richard Reeser of Cheshire, sisters in law: Regina Rock of Oakville and Dolores Wood and her husband William of Oakville, three granddaughters, three grandsons and several nieces and nephews.

      Mr. Reeser's family would like to thank the staff and nurses at VITAS Hospice and the staff, nurses and aides at the Glendale Center and Beacon Brook Health Care Center for the wonderful care that they provided.

      Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home 72 Waterbury Road Prospect is in charge of arrangements.

      In lieu of flowers, Mr. Reeser's family requests that contributions in his memory be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
