Joseph A. Sackett, Car Dealer, Dies
Joseph A. Sackett, 37, of 404 Renwick ave., salesman of r Salina-Chevrolet Co., died yesterday in University hospital. A veteran of world war 2, he was a boxer under the name of Joey Sackett from 1928 to 1935.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Baggio Sackett, three brothers, Anthony B., Donald and Nicholas M. Sackett; five sisters, Mrs. William Markell, Mrs. Raymond Taylor, Mrs. Jean Storms, Mrs. Anthony Lucio, Jr., and Miss Jennie Sackett; an Aunt, Mrs. Susie DiLella, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 8:45 a.m. Monday at the home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's church, where a solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated by the Rev. Angelo Strazzoni. Burial will be in Assumption cemetery.
