(Sackett) Lucio, 89, of Camillus, passed away Friday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse to the late Biaggio and Assunta (DiLella) Sackett. Rose was a meat wrapper for Super Duper for 10 years before retiring in 1980. She was also a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Tony "Shrimpy" Lucio, in 2007 and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by four loving daughters, Toni Jean Louise of Solvay, Carol Ann Luckette of Camillus, Jovine (Dennis) DeStefano of Solvay, and Margie Lucio of Solvay; a loving son, Anthony (Susan) Lucio III of Camillus; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and in-laws. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, and 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay. A Syracuse resident for 60 years, he was a retired employee of the Delaware Lackawanna and Western Railroad Co. He is survived by his wife, Assunta Sackett; three sons, Anthony, Donald, and Nocholas Sackett; five daughters, Mrs. William Markell, Mrs. Raymond Taylor, Mrs. Anthony Lucio, Miss Jean Sackett, and Miss Jennie Sackett; several brothers and sisters in Italy, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
