      John Galvin worked at Cos Cob Power. After work he occassionaly stopped at "Augies" which was across the street. On 30 JUL 2000 Albert A. and Elizabeth Jean (Burns) Haviland stopped at Augies. The original bar and mirror behind the bar was still in place (personal communication with Elizabeth, August 2000.)
      John died on January 15, 1946 in Fort Myers, Florida. He was buried at Fort Myer's Cemetery, Ft. Meyers, Florida.

      James was born on July 17, 1898 in Stamford, Connecticut. James married Frances Anna Galvin on 26 January 1922 in Greenwich, Connecticut. James was 23 and Frances was 20.
      On April 24, 1950 James wrote to the Bank of Ireland seeking the name of the bank that his father might have had monies deposited for him. On May 23, 1950 the Bank of Ireland replied stating there were no such funds in their bank and suggested three banks to contact. These three subsequently wrote to James also stating no such funds were in their banks.
      James was a member and president of the St. Clement's Holy Name Society. He was a charter member of Local 311, Plumbers & Steamfitters (retiring as president a week prior to his death); and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
      James died on February 15,1964 in Stamford, Connecticut. He was buried in St John's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Stamford.
