Daughter of Burnice Tuttle French and Caroline Coon, married William Henry Wonser,March 15, 1876, Wakeman, Ohio, had five known children. Until the last few years much of her time was spent piecing quilts, crocheting rugs or lace or doing other needlework for her friends or relatives. Possessing good eyesight and a keen mind until the end she read a great deal, thus kept abreast of the times and was unafraid to express her approval or disapproval of anyone or his policies. Loving her God, her country and her flag she was truly a patriotic soul.

During the war when listening to news broadcasts if the outcome seemed uncertain or foreboding she would turn for assurance and comfort to Deuteronomy 33:27, "The eternal God is thy refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms; and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee."

She whiled away many lonely hours working crossword puzzles or jigsaw puzzles. Cherishing friendships she was such a friend as Grace N. Crowell
