Mary Patricia Landon died Wednesday, June 14 at age 81.
Mrs. Landon was born Aug. 23, 1924 in Portland, Ore. Harriet (Fitzgerald) and Edmund Forgus. She attended Davis High School, and was employed as an administrative assistant at UC Davis for over 30 years.
A Yolo County resident for the past 41 years, Mrs. Landon was active within the Rebekah Lodge of Davis, where she held various posts.
She is survived by daughter Donna Landon of Sheridan, Wyo.; sisters Geraldine Bennett of Los Altos, Charlotte Holder of Sacramento and Beverly Hardwicke of Davis; granddaughter Lee Ann Oerding and husband Grant of Davis; and grandson Dennis Harry and wife Lisa, of Davis.
She was preceded in death by daughter Ruth Landon and son Dan Harry.
Services: Private family services will be held, with interment at Davis Cemetery. Assisting the family with arrangements is Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
