Larry E. Siepker, 60, of Quincy died at 10:37 a.m. Tuesday (December 23, 2014) in Blessing Hospital.
Born May 6, 1954, in Quincy, Larry was the son of Raymond "Ben" and Helen Kabrick Siepker. He married Sharon Benz on September 11, 1976, in Quincy.
A member of St. Peter Church and a 1973 graduate of Payson-Seymour High School, Larry was active in basketball and baseball and played soccer while attending Lincoln Illinois Community College. Larry retained his love of sports and was an avid follower of the Payson-Seymour basketball and volleyball teams and helped coach Little League Baseball. He enjoyed going to the movies, attending antique car shows and woodworking. He also enjoyed family gatherings, Christmas dinners and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Larry E. Siepker, 60, of Quincy, died at 10:37 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 23, 2014) in Blessing Hospital.
Born May 6, 1954, in Quincy, Larry was a son of Raymond "Ben" and Helen Kabrick Siepker. He married Sharon Benz on Sept. 11, 1976, in Quincy.
Mr. Siepker worked at various manufacturing companies in Quincy and was recently employed for a number of years at Graphic Packaging.
A member of St. Peter Church and a 1973 graduate of Payson-Seymour High School, Larry was active in basketball and baseball and played soccer while attending Lincoln Illinois Community College. Larry retained his love of sports and was an avid follower of the Payson-Seymour basketball and volleyball teams and helped coach Little League baseball.

SERVICES: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home, Payson, with the Rev. Clif Wisenger conducting. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery, near Plainville.
VISITATION: 4-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, in the funeral home.
MEMORIALS: Grandchildren's educational fund.
ARRANGEMENTS: Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

RAYMOND 'BEN' SIEPKER

Mr. Raymond B. 'Ben' Siepker, 84, of Plainville, died at 11:27 a.m. Tuesday (July 8, 2003) in Blessing Hospital.
Born June 28, 1919 in Barry, Mr. Siepker was the son of Raymond B. and Ella May Joor Siepker. He married Helen Kabrick on February 19, 1944 in Norfolk, Virginia. She survives.
Mr. Siepker was a member of the Plainville Methodist Church, Plainville Masonic Lodge No. 529 and the Barry Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during WW II.
A graduate of Barry High School, Mr. Siepker received his Associate Degree from Hannibal LaGrange College. He was employed in Systems Analysis at Moorman Manufacturing, retiring after 37 years with the company.
Surviving is a son, Larry E. Siepker of Quincy; two grandchildren, Laura Siepker and Corey Siepker both of Quincy; three nephews, Larry Kabrick of Quincy, Rex Kabrick and his wife Vicki of Plainville and Terry Rostron and his wife Linda of St. Charles, MO.; a niece, Karen Weisinger and her husband Clif of Quincy; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. Siepker was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Janice Tuck.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson by the Rev. Ron Cox. Burial will be the Stewart Cemetery near Plainville.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Friday morning until the time of services at the funeral home in Payson.
Memorials may be made to the Plainville Methodist Church or the Plainville Baptist Church.

PLAINVILLE, Ill. -- Helen L. Siepker, 97, of the Good Samaritan Home, Quincy, formerly of Plainville, died at 11:35 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at the home.
Born Sept. 4, 1918, in Plainville, Helen was daughter of Harry E. and Amelia LaVeta Crim Kabrick. She married Raymond B. "Ben" Siepker on Feb. 19, 1944, in Norfolk, Va. He preceded her in death July 8, 2003.
Helen attended Plainville Baptist Church and was a previous member of Plainville Methodist Church where she taught children's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She was a member of the Pike Chapter No. 20 Order of Eastern Star in Barry, a charter member of the Plainville Nite Unit HCE and a charter member of the Great River Genealogical Society. An avid reader, Helen also loved sewing, arts and crafts and word puzzles. She was devoted to her family and loved the time she spent with them.
Helen was a 1936 graduate of Seymour High School in Payson and Gem City Business College in Quincy in 1938. She was employed as a bank teller at First National Bank in Barry before her marriage, and after her marriage at Merchants and Planters Bank in South Norfolk, Va.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Laura Camillo (John) of Quincy and Corey Siepker of Quincy; two great-grandchildren, Zoe Camillo and Xeland Camillo, both of Quincy; three nephews, Larry Kabrick of Quincy, Rex Kabrick (Vicki) of Plainville and Terry Rostron (Linda) of St. Charles, Mo.; a niece, Karen Weisinger (Clif) of Quincy; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond "Ben" Siepker; a son, Larry Siepker; two brothers, Edward Kabrick (Dorothy) and Wallace Kabrick (Kay); and a sister, Margaret "Maggie" Rostron (Leslie).
