"IN MEMORIAM
Charles Jefferson
"Charles Jefferson, son of Alex and Cornelia Sackett was born in Davis county, October 17, 1855.
"He spent his youth and early manhood in that community, going from there to Nebraska where he lived several years. Later he made his home in Indianola where he lived for the last fourteen years, and where he has many friends.
"He leaves to mourn their loss his brothers, Thomas and J. A. Sackett, sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Knox, Mrs Emma Peach and Mrs Clara Carman and many other relatives and friends. He departed this life in the Centerville Hospital January 22, 1923, aged 67 years, 3 months and 5 days.
"The funeral took place from the Columbia church near Dudley, January 25. Rev. G. W. Barker of Stockport conducting the service. ---Contributed"
