Mrs. Ethel Gleason, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Pogue of Greeley. Nebr., died of heart failure at a hospital in Grand Island, Jan. 6th, having passed through a successful operation thereon the 3rd. Funeral services were held at Greeley on Saturday and interment was made at that place. This news brings sorrow to the many relatives and friends of the deceased in this vicinity, where she spent her childhood. Mrs. Gleason is a neice (sic) of Mrs. Ruddock and was at one time compositor in the Gazette Office.
