As for Maurice (or Morris) interestingly, while looking for him in the census, I found in the 1930, a Maurice E. Pickett, age 57, born Pa., parents born Pa., wife Hazel H., age 36, born in Iowa. His location at that time was Rawlins, Carbon Co., Wyoming, where he was the Chief of Police.

Another Editor Goes 'To the Bad'
Over in Wyoming there is always something doing in the matrimonial line and the cards are invariably stacked to catch some poor country editor. This time it was M. E. Pickett, editor of the River Current, published at Dixon, Wyo. About ten days ago the lovely daughter of Charles E. Ayer and wife pioneers of Routt county, drifted toward Rawlins on a shopping tour. The aforesaid editor followed and persuaded her to leave her happy home. Now she is Mrs. Pickett and owns a half interest in a print shop. We congratulate Pickett but we feel sorry for her.
