      Jonathan Dickerman, son of Jonathan, in 1792 moved his family to a new house that was built on land given to him by his father. The house which was built in an orchard located in Mount Carmel Parish of Hamden is pictured to the right. Four generations of the descendants of Jonathan Dickerman lived here before it was sold to someone outside the family. On the property is the barn also pictured to the right with plaque stating "Dickerman-Talmadge Cider Mill Circa 1810".
