Mac Young
Mac B. Young, 78, 2663 W. Road 600 North, died at 2:05 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19,1995, at his home.
He was born Feb. 8, 1917, in Howard County, to Charles and Geneva (McConnell) Young. March 25, 1939, in Kokomo, he married Ailene (Tennet) Young, who preceded him in death June 20,1990.
He retired from Cabot Corp., after being employed from 1956 to 1980. He also was employed at Globe American from 1935 to 1956.
His memberships included First Baptist Church in Galveston. He was a former president of the Kokomo Saddle Club and Western Tri-County Saddle Club. He formerly played softball for Globe American and American Legion.
Surviving are one son, Jeff Young of Kokomo.
Also preceding him in death was one sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Murray Funeral Home, Galveston Chapel, Ind. 35 South. Burial will be in Galveston Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Joseph Hospital Home Health Care.
