CORUNNA MAN IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Daniel W Buckley Succumbs to Pneumonia; Was Ill Ten Days
Corunna, March 6 - Daniel W Buckley, 63 years old, died at his home here late Thursday afternoon after an illness of ten days with pnumonia. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 8 o'clock at St Paul's Catholic Church in Owosso, Rev Fr P.J. McSherry will officiate.
Mr. Buckley sustained serious injuries last summer, when a load of hay on which he was riding was tipped over by an automobile. His leg and jaw were broken, but his family does not beleive there injuries were responsible for his death. His recovery from the injuries had been complete.
Mr. Buckley was born in New York and when a boy came to Chesaning with his parents. As a young man, he went to North Dakota, where he married Miss Anna Kern, and remained several years. On his return from the west, he lived on a farm south of Owosso for a number of years. Siteen years ago , he came to Corunna.
The deceased is survived by his widow, two children, Mrs. Frank Moore of Corunna and Claude Buckley of Owosso. He also leaves two brothers, Bert of north Dakota and Frank of California, and one sister, Mrs. Warrenn Taylor of North Dakota. on 6 March 1925 at Page 3, Owosso, Shiawassee County, MI.
He was buried on 8 March 1925 at Section E, Owosso, Shiawassee County, MI
