      F. F. DE RHAM IS DEAD AFTER TRIP IN STORM

Banker Is Apoplexy Victim at His Tuxedo Park Home

TUXEDO PARK, N. Y., Sept. 21--Frederic Foster de Rham, vice president and trust officer of the Fulton Trust Company of New York, who has been a prominent member of the Tuxedo Park colony for many years, died at his home here at 8 o'clock tonight of a stroke of appoplexy. He was 54 years old.

The afternoon train on which Mr. de Rham was returning from the city was marooned by the torm (sic) at Warwick and he made the rest of the journey in his own car, summoned from here. The motor trip, which ordinarily would have taken fifteen minutes, took two hours on the lamost (sic) impassible road. Mr. de Rham arrived at his house suffering considerably from exposure. He went into the bathroom to prepare for dinner and collapsed a moment later, dying almost instantly.

A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles de Rham of New York, Mr. de Rham was graduated from St. Mark's School in 1901, and Harvard College in 1905. He was vice-president and trustee of the Green-Wod Cemetery. He belonged to the Tuxedo Park Racquet and Tennis and Harvard Clubs, the Down Town Association and the St. Nicholas Society.

The first wife of Mr. de Rham, the former Natalie Howland, died in 1932. Three years later he married May Frances Vogel Butt, wdiow (sic) of L. Havemeyer Butt. She survives, as do three children of the first marriage, Elizabeth, Laura, Frederic F. de Rham Jr., and a brother, Henry C. de Rham of Garrison, N.Y.
