Billings Girls is Drowned in Ditch
Billings. June 29 (A.P.) ------ Falling into the swift waters of Grey Eagle ditch in south Billings two year old Patricia Ann , daughter of Mr and Mrs MICHAEL H. ARCHER of Billings, drowned early this evening. It was the second local drowning in three days.
Patsy Ann, as she was known among her playmates had been walking in the ward with her sister Lucille, 11, after supper. Lucille, leaving the child walked south of the home for a supply of milk. When she returned Patsy was not in sight. Efforts to revive the child after she was taken from the water were futile.
Virginia Stevens , 12, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. L. S. Stevens lost her life Thursday in the waters of an irrigation canal
