Married
CARMAN -- PECK. -- At Ottumwa on Monday, October 5th, Mr. H. E. Carman of Midland, and Miss Corna Peck, of Ottumwa.
This event has been anticipated for some time by observing friends. Of whom both bride and groom have many in both communities.
The bride has been for a considerable time editor of the Ottumwa, through which medium she is widely known. By her sweet womanly qualities she has endeared herself to all who know her personally, and has demonstrated the fact that she possesses maked ability as a writer and newspaper manager.
The husband of her choice is well known here as the manager of the Liggett grain and feed store. He is a careful, painstaking business man and has made many substantial friends here, both for himself and his firm.
We are not informed as to the young couple's plans for the future, but suppose they will make their home here.
The MAIL wishes to add its congratulations to those of their friends.
