WILLIAM C. SACKETT DEAD
William C. Sackett, 204 North Ingham street, died Wednesday at the Sheldon Memoria1 hospital following an illness of about three weeks. Mr. Sackett had lived in Albion since, his birth, and was well known among residents of the city, besides being an officer of the Gale Manufacturing company.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sackett of Albion, and was born in this city, March 26, 1882.
He attended the local schools and then entered the employ of the Gale Manufacturing company, in the shipping department. He was a member of Albion lodge No. 57, Knights of Pythias, and of the Leisure club, having been secretary and director of the latter organization for a number of years.
There survive the parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.S. Sackett; the widow and three children--Mark and W. C. Sackett. jr., of this city, and Mrs. Robert Wisenborn of Jackson; and a sister, Mrs. Howell Van Gordon of this city.
The body will be at the Marsh Funeral Home until Saturday. The funeral will be held Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Sackett, 701 Perry street, at 2 p. m., Rev. I. H. Riddick officiating; burial at Riverside cemetery.
