      Church Rite Unites Pair
      Mrs. Mariana W. Kulas of this city and George E, Poorman of Hatboro, Pa. were married Saturday afternoon at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in a ceremony conduct-ed by the Rev, Edwin B. Thayer. Mr. Thayer, former rector of St. Luke's Church, is now rector of the Church of the Ascension in Denver.

      Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Sackett of 512 West Laurel Street are the bride's parents. Mr. Poorman is the son of Mrs. Alfred P. Poorman and the late Mr. Poorman of West Lafayette, Ind.

      Lavender gladioli and white carnations decorated the church.
      The wedding music was furnished by St. Luke's choir and Mrs. Marvin Meiers, organist.

      Suit Bride's Costume
      The bride was attired in an off--white sharkskin suit. Her flowered hat and other accessories were lavender and her corsage was an orchid. As matron of honor Mrs. David K. Clint Jr. of Denver wore a pink suit with matching accessories. Her flowers were white carnations and pink roses.

      Andrew Kulas, son of the bride, was ring-bearer. Mr. Poorman's niece, Betty Jensen of Bedford, Iowa, \\vas flower girl, wearing a frock of pink dotted Swiss with a matching bonnet. She carried a colonial bouquet of carnations. A. Elton Jensen Jr. was best man for the bridegroom. Ushers were John Hickman and William Amsden.

      After the rite the couple greeted guests at St. Luke's Parish House. Assisting there were Mrs. A. A. Kroll, Mrs. Willard M. Bennett, Mrs. Wendel Diebel, Mrs. Hugh Lake, Mrs. Al Hagemeister, Mrs. Paul Eskridge and Miss Katherine Howard. Mrs. A. Elton Jensen Jr., sister of the bride (groom-sic) , was in charge of the guest book.

      Guests from other cities were Mrs. Alfred P. Poorman of West Lafayette, Ind.. Mr. and Mrs. A. Elton Jensen and children, Betty and Andrew, of Bedford, Iowa, Mrs, Laura Chamberlain and Mrs. Lillian Ohrstedt of Denver, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Neal of Scotts- Bluff, Neb., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Snow of Boulder.

      The ceremony was preceded by a breakfast for the weddig party at the Colonnades Tearoom. After a wedding trip to Red Feather Lakes and other places in the Colorado mountains, Mr. andt Mrs. Poorman will live at Hatboro. The bride, who received a bachelor's degree from Colorado. A & M College and a master's degree from Mills College, has been assistant home economist at the Colorado A & M Experiment Station for six years. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, Chapter AL of PEO and the Rain-bow Alumnae Group.

      Mr .Poorman, a graduate of Purdue University, is an engineer at the Naval Air Development Center at Johnsville, Pa. His college fraternity was Phi Kappa Tau.

      Sacketts Dinner Hosts
      Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Sackett of 517 West Laurel Street entertained Friday at a family dinner for some of the out-of-town guests here for the wedding of their daughter, Mrs. Mariana Kulas.

      Attending the dinner were Mrs. Alfred P. Poorman of Lafayette, lnd., the bridegroom's mother; Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Jensen Jr. of Bedford, Iowa, the bridegroom's sister and brother-in-law, and their children. Andy and Betty.

      Mrs. Kulas and George E. Poorman were married Saturday afternoon at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
