      1890. JUSTIN FOOTE, (798, 247, 76, 25, 9, 3,) b. Smyrna, N. Y., Nov. 22, 1803; m. Mar. 31, 1825, Irene, dau. of Dea. Samuel and Irene Allen Warner, of Sherburne, N. Y. She was b. May 6, 1807. Justin Foote first settled on a large farm in Otselic, but subsequently returned to Smyrna and settled on the George Bixby farm, where he lived until he was killed at the raising of a saw mill owned by a Mr. Fisher, by the falling upon him of a part of the frame, on June 19, 1834. His tragic death left a widow and five fatherless children, the youngest
      unborn. Of these, the eldest dau. d. at her grandfather's. Judge Foote 's, in Smyrna, in 1846, ae. 20 years; Frances Irene, the next younger, d. at the residence of her mother in Alexander, N. Y., Apr. 29, 1847, ae. 17; a younger brother,
      Justin Hiel, d. at Belvidere, 111., Jan. 24, 1856, ae. 24 years. Another son, Daniel E. Foote, who made his home with his grandfather. Judge Foote, in Smyrna, studied medicine with Dr. Frederick Hyde, of Cortland, and afterwards graduated
      from the Medical Department of the University of Buffalo, class of 1851. She m. 2nd, Aug. 12, 1847, Henry Seymore, in Batavia, N. Y. They had one son, Hervey J. Seymore, b. May 31, 1849; d. July 14, 1851. She d. Apr. 23, 1882, in Belvidere,
