Mrs. Edna M. Sims

Mrs. Edna M. Sims, 52, of 1920 DeWitt dr., died at 2 a. m. Saturday In Grandview hospital after a long illness. Born in Winchester, Ind., she had lived in Dayton 27 years and was a member of Messiah Lutheran church and Rebekah lodge in West Carrollton.

Surviving are her husband. Elmer Jr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Mason or San Bernar-dino, Cal.; four daughters, Halsie and Sharon Sims and Mrs. Martha Bocock, all of Dayton, and Mrs. Betty Huffman of Indianapolis, Ind.; a son, James! of Carswell Air Force base, Ft. Worth, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Pansy Clendenin and Mrs. Laura A. Brown, both of San Bernardino, Cal.; three brothers, Felix W. Mason of Dayton, William A. of Springfield and Gordon G. of Blanchester, O., and seven grandchildren.

WILLIAM A. MASON

William A. Mason, 67, of 644 E. Southern av., died in his home at 9 a.m. Saturday following two years of failing health.

He was born in Washington state, May 26, 1909, the son of Ernest and Ethel Mason, and had resided in Springfield for the past four years. He was a retired employe of Sears, Roebuck and Co. and had attended First Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Chapman of Springfield; four grandchildren; his mother of Parker City, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Brown of Winchester, Ind., and Mrs. Pansy Clendenin of California, and two brothers, Gale of Fayetteville, O., and Felix of Lewisburg, O.

Services will be held at the Richards Memorial Home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Burdean Owens will officiate. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.

Friends may call in the memorial home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Ethel Mason

FARMLAND -- Mrs. Ethel Mason, 97, died about 5:30 a.m. Saturday at Crystals Country Home in Parker City.

She was a Farmland area native. Her husband Ernest died in 1965.

Survivors include two sons, Gordon, Blanchester, Ohio, and Felix, Lewisburg, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Clendenin, Twenty-nine Palms. Calif., and Mrs. Howard Brown, Winchester; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Mason will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Thornburg Funeral Home west of here with the Rev. Burley Oren officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Cemetery south of here. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and before services Monday at the funeral home.
