Willard F. Mason
Willard F. Mason, 80, of 8091 Swamp Creek Road, Lewisburg, died Sunday, March 10, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton after a short illness.
Born Nov. 9, 1915, in Joliet, Mont., he was the son of Ernest and Ethel (James) Mason. He retired from Bendix in Dayton in 1976 after 30 years. He moved to Lewisburg in 1966.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Margaret L. (Waterhouse) Mason; sons Kenneth F. Mason of Dayton, Keith A. Mason of Lynn, Ind., and Bruce G. Mason, Trotwood; daughter, Georgia M. Lockhart of Dayton; brother Gail "Bob" G. Mason of Blanchester, Ohio; sisters Laura Alice Brown of Winchester, Ind., Pansy Clendenin of Arizona; eight grandchildrfen; and 10 great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, John Douglass Mason; a sister, Edna Sims; and a brother, William Mason.
Graveside service will be at10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, with the Rev. Bill Longanecher officiating. Barnes Funeral Home-Lewisburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret L. Mason, 96, of Lewisburg, OH, died Friday, September 9, 2016 at Brookhaven in Brookville, Ohio where she had been a resident since July of 2016. Margaret was born on April 16, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Cohen R. & Sophia M. (Sorenson) Waterhouse. She was an avid flower Gardner and loved the birds that visited her garden.
Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Willard F. Mason in 1996; grandson: Phillip Malott in 2013.
Survived by her children: Georgia Lockhart of Huber Heights, OH; Kenneth & Lois Mason of Dayton, OH; Keith & Billie Mason and Bruce Mason both of Lewisburg, OH. 7 grandchildren.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens Brookville, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home - Lewisburg, OH. Condolences may be sent to the family via the Web site at www.barnesfuneralhome.com.
