Miss Bosson Becomes Bride of Mr. Duell
Cambridge Wedding Held Yesterday in Christ Church
Christ Church in Cambridge was the scene yesterday afternoon of the weding of Miss Nancy Bosson and Mr. Halliwell Ledyard Duell. The Rev. Henry Bradford Washburn, former dean of the Episcopal Theological Seminary in Cambridge, officiated at the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell Bosson, parents of the bride, in Belmont.
[The article describes the bride's gown and veil, bouquet, attire of the matron and maids of honor, etc.] Mrs. S. Cushing Lane was her sister's matron of honor, and the two maids of honor were Miss Ruth Bosson, another sister, and Miss Jane Stillwell, sister of the bridegroom. The four bridesmaids were Miss Mary Gillman of Cambridge, Miss Gertrude McKitterick of Sacrsdale, N.Y., Miss Winifred Crary of Northport, L.I., and Mrs. David A. Kennedy of New Haven.

Mr. Holland Duell of New Mexico was best man for his brother and ushers were Mr. Charles Duell of New York, another brother, Mr. Thomas Chrystic of New York, Mr. A. Davis Bosson of Itihica, N.Y., brother of the bride, Mr. Robert C. Seamans Jr. of Salem, Mr. Stephen Eckard of New York, and mr. Conyers Stewart of Montana.
Mr. Duell and his bride will make their home at Bear Creek Ranch, Lodge Grass, Montana, after the middlle of December. Mrs. Duell, a granddaughter of the late Judge Bosson of Boston, attended the Lee School in Boston and was graduated from Smith College in 1940. Mr. Duell prepared for college at the Hotchkiss School and was graduated from Yale in 1935.

REV. HALLIWELL L. DUELL, 77, of Colorado Springs died Monday at a local health care center. He was a cattle rancher for many years before becoming an Episcopal priest. Rev. Duell was the founder of and vicar for 15 years at St. Raphael's Episcopal Church in Security. He then was the vicar of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Cripple Creek for 15 years.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Bishop William Wolfrum and Rev. Richard Lawlor at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Raphael's Episcopal Church, 802 Leta Drive, Security. Inurnment will be in the columbarium at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Cripple Creek. Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave.
Rev. Duell was born March 18, 1912, in Yonkers, N.Y., to Holland and Mabel (Halliwell) Duell. He had lived in this area 30 years. Rev. Duell graduated from Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest, Austin, Texas. He was a volunteer chaplain at Memorial Hospital.
He was married in 1940 in Cambridge, Mass., to Nancy D. Bosson, who survives.
Rev. Duell also is survived by three sons, Holland of San Francisco, Halliwell Jr. of Alice Springs, Australia, and James of Colorado Springs; two daughters, Mary of Denver and Nancy of Colorado Springs; a brother, Holland S. Jr. of Colorado City; a sister, Harriet Ann Kelso of Colorado Springs; and a grandchild.
Rev. Duell was preceded in death by a grandchild.
The family requests flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Raphael's Episcopal Church, 802 Leta Drive, Security 80911; St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Cripple Creek 80813; or the Colorado Springs Symphony, 1014 N. Weber St., Colorado Springs 80903.

The wedding of Holland Sackett Duell
to Miss Mabel Halliwell took place at the Col-
legiate Church last evening, the Rev. Dr.
Donald Mackay officiating.
Mr. Duell is a former resident of Syracuse
and is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H.
Duell. He was graduated at Yale in the
class of 1902 and from the New York Law
School of 1904. Miss Halliwell is the daugh-
ter of Charles E. Halliwell, Vice President
and General Manager of the Continental
Tobacco Company, formerly a resident of
St. Louis Mo.
Owing to the very serious illness of Mr.
Halliwell's mother the invitations to the
wedding and reception were recalled and
only the relatives and a few intimate
friends were present.
