Lilly B. Van Eaton died Sunday morning in a McCleary hospital. She was the daughter of James and Estella Sackett and was the first white child born in Bellaire, Michigan, December 6, 1877. She came to (Olympia in 1901 and moved to Alaska in 1919. Mrs. Van Eaton returned to Olympia after six years and had lived here until moving to Malone two years ago. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Olympia. Surviving are a son, Leslie D. McLellan, Olympia; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Skinner, Olympia; a brother, Earl Sackett, Malone; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Rohr, Olympia, and Mrs. John Wall, Ketchikan, Alaska; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
