FRANK E. SACKETT OF MARION DIES
Steel Company Office Worker Stricken; Rites Tuesday.
Frank E. Sackett, 74, an office employe (sic) of the Pollak Steel Co. and its predecessor, the Interstate Co., for about 23 years, died Saturday at 4:15 p. m. at his home at 205 Franconia avenue. Mr. Sackett was taken ill about three weeks ago and was forced to give up his work a short time later.
He was a native of Berlin township, Delaware county, born on Nov. 13, 1864 to George L. and Mary Ellen Sackett, both born in the township. His marriage to Miss Annie Evans took place on May 18, 1905 at Blelefontaine.
Surviving with the widow are a brother, Howard Sackett of near Delaware, two nieces and a nephew.
Mr. Sackett was a member of Bible Presbyterian church.
The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Curtis Home for Funerals on East Center street Rev. James W, Hanna, pastor of Bible Presbyterian church, will be in charge. Burial will be made in Oak Grove cemetery at Delaware. Friends may call at the home tonight and at the Curtis Home after 11 a. m. Tuesday.
