Wallace Render Sackett, son of Frederick Charles Sackett and Jessie Gray Cousland, was born in Ramsgate, Kent, on 7 September 1895. He died aged 78 in Pershore, Worcestershire, in 1974. He married in Hastings, Sussex, in 1920, Emily Esther Bown. Emily was born on 25 April 18962 and died aged 91 in Meirionydd, Gwynedd, WalesG, in October 1987.
In 1911 Wallace was living at Hillside, Wingham, Kent, in the household of his parents Frederick and Jessie, and was recorded in the census as Wallace Render Sackett, a draper's assistant, aged 15 and born in Ramsgate.
Wallace served in the British Army during the First World War as a Private in the Somerset Light Infantry and then in the Labour Corps. He was awarded the Victory Medal and the British Medal in recognition of active service overseas. He was granted a Silver War Badge, to be worn with civilian clothes to indicate that he had been honourably discharged due to wounds or sickness.
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Wallace and Emily were living at 14 Silchester Road, Hastings, Sussex. Wallace was a ladies tailor.

Frederick Charles Sackett, son of William Francis Sackett and Elizabeth Ann Foord, was born in Thanet, Kent, on 20 May 1870. He died aged 93 in Pershore, Worcestershire, in 1964. He married there in 1894, Jessie Gray Cousland, daughter of James Cousland and Annie Tod. Jessie was born in Denny, Stirling, Scotland, on 30 April 18695, and died aged 81 at home at Hermon, Polesteeple Hill, Biggin Hill, Kent, on 4 January 1951.
In 1871 Frederick was living at 1 Thanet Road, Broadstairs, Kent, in the household of his parents William and Elizabeth., and was recorded in the census as Frederick C Sackett, aged 10 months, and born in Broadstairs.
In 1891 he was living at Thanet Cottages, St Peter's, Kent, in the household of his parents William and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Frederick C Sackett, a gas fitter, unmarried, aged 21 and born in Broadstairs.
In 1911 he was living at Hillside, Wingham, Kent, and was recorded as Frederick Charles Sackett, an evangelist, head of household, aged 41. Living with him were his wife Jessie, 41, and their children, Wallace, 15, Elsie, 12, and Grace, aged two.
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Frederick and Jessie were living at Hermon, Orpington, Kent. Frederick was a retired "caravangelist."
Frederick's wife Jessie left a will which was proved on 6 February 1951 by their daughter Grace. Her estate was valued at £180.
