BOZEMAN NEWS
Miss Nathalie Sacket, the west's only female civil engineer, now clerk for the state highway commission at Helena, spent Sunday as the guest of her mother and sister and her many friends in Bozeman.

News reports in summer 1923 and 1924 indicate that she was teaching civil engineering in a college in Patterson, New Jersey during the school year. By 1949, she lived in New York City but still made annual summer visits to Bozeman.

SECRETARY FOR COMMISSION.
BOZEMAN, May 29.--Miss Nathalie Sacket. who graduates in June from the Montana State college, has accepted accepted a position as secretary to the Montana Montana highway commission, her headquarters to be in the capitol building in Helena. She is a capable engineer and will do draughting and a number of other things in connection with the ordinary work of a secretary. Miss Sackett is a sister of Charles T. Sackett, a civil engineer of Livingston, who is well known throughout the state.

Major C. T. Sacket Dies in Wyoming
Sheridan, Wyo., Feb. 8.--AP-- Major C. T. Sacket, for many years prominent as a civil and mining engineer at Livingston. Mont., died In the U. S. Veterans administration hospital at Fort MacKenzie today. He was 53 years old.
Major Sacket, a World war veteran, had been a patient at the hospital here since 1928. His death was due to pneumonia.
A native of Bozeman, Sarket attended Montana State College and received his engineering degree from Columbia university.
He is survived by his widow, Berenice Sacket, a son, Charles, and three sisters, Mrs. Ann Dixon and Miss Natalie Sacket, both of Oradell, N. J., and Mrs. Fannie Crago of Portland, Ore.
The body will be sent from here tonight to Livingston for funeral services Tuesday after which It will be taken to Bozeman for interment.
