      Washington I. Sweet

      Funeral services were held at 2 p m., Thursday from the Fillbach Funeral Home for Washington Irving Sweet, 60, who passed away at a Glendale Hospital on June 30. Mr. Sweet was born at Dimondale, Michigan, and had been a resident of California for the past 23 years. He was employed as a tool and die maker at a local aircraft factory.

      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearle L. Sweet, of the home address, 1821 Pepper St.; one son, Charlie Sweet of Burbank; three brothers, H. E. Sweet of Portland, Walter S. Sweet of Michigan, Amos Sweet of Michigan; two sisters. Mrs. Mable Newth and Mrs. Ethel Peterson, both of Michigan; one grandson, John Charles Sweet.

      Services were conducted by Rev. C. E. Carlson and the El Sereno Lodge F & A.M. No. 5S8. Interment followed at Grand View Memorial Park.

      Amos H. Sweet

      CHARLOTTE Amos H. Sweet, 63, of Potterville, died Tuesday evening af 8:45 at the Hayes-Green-Beach hospital, where he had been a patient only a few hours. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Lamb of Eaton Rapids township, Mrs. Mabel Newth of Chester township; two brothers. Walter Sweet of Eaton Rapids township and Homer Sweet of Portland, Ore. Services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. from the Pray chapel and burial will be, in Brickyard cemetery in Eaton Rapids township.
