Rites Planned To-morrow For Dinuba Contractor

DINUBA (Tulare Co), Jan 20--David Pearl Thompson, 64, a native of Wisconsin and for the last twenty-two years a contractor and builder here, died in a Fresno hospital last night. He had lived in Dunlap for the last year.

Surviving him are his widow Mrs. Cora B. Thompson and the following children: Roy M. Thompson, Everett, Washington; Mrs Fay Rand, Baldwin Park, California; Mrs. Vera Kane, Riverdale; Hollis D. Thompson, General Grant Park, and Mrs Dora Sons, Madera; nineteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Jack Drady of Fresno and Mrs. Lottie Hall of Ran Diego.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Dopkins Chapel here with Rev. Walter Hollbrook officiating. Burial will he in the Smith Mountain Cemetery.

Cora B. Thompson Dies January 12

Mrs. Cora B. Thompson of Baldwin Park, mother of Mrs. Davis Sons of the Franklin District, passed away suddenly in the southern city January 12, of bronchial pneumonia. Funeral services were held at Baldwin Park with graveside services at the Kingsburg Cemetery Saturday, conducted by Rev. Owen T. Day.

Mrs. Thompson lived for many years in Dinuba and had a wide circle of friends in surrounding valley cities as she was always active in church, club and W. C. T. U. affairs.

The following sons and daughters survive: Roy H Thompson, (Washington. Mrs. C. F. Rand, Baldwin Park. Mrs. W. J. Kane. Bakersfield, Mrs. Davis Sons, Selma, and Hollis D Thompson, Hollywood.
