      Obituary

      Mary E. Grahl, age 89, of Cascade, passed away Saturday (January 11, 2020) at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

      She was born on September 15, 1930 in Fond du Lac, WI, a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Hubbard) Sackett.

      Mary graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1950.

      On September 17, 1955 she married Kenneth Halle. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1960.

      She worked for 33 years for the Plymouth School District in the kitchen and on the custodial staff.

      On June 30, 1979 she married August ?Augie? Grahl.

      Mary was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo where she served on the Altar Guild and served with the United Methodist Women. She was also an active member of the Cascade Lions Club and volunteered delivering for Home Delivered Meals.

      Mary loved bowling and belonged to the Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon senior leagues at Odyssey Lanes in Sheboygan Falls. She also enjoyed watching game shows and sports, especially all the Wisconsin sports teams.

      Survivors include: Husband: Augie of Cascade, Three Children: Kay (Becky) Drebert of Binghamton, NY, David (Julie) Halle of Sheboygan, WI, and Mark (Cindy) Halle of Menasha, WI. Six Grandchildren: Jason (special friend: Aimee) Tschantz of Green Bay, Heather (Thomas) Alday of Sheboygan, Nikki (Reggie) Anderson of Brookfield, Lance (Abbey) Halle of Neenah, David II(Tricia Hansen) Halle of Sheboygan and Stephanie (David) Petricek of Sheboygan; Four Great Grandchildren: David, Lorelai, Alessa and Clara; Two Sisters: Arleene Konz of Sheboygan and Betty Machtig of Sheboygan; One Brother: Harold Sackett of Clinton, IA; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      She was preceded in death by: Grandson: James Tschantz; Brothers: Clarence, Norman, John, Bill and George; Sisters: Esther, Muriel and Helen; Brothers-in-law: Elmer and Glenn Grahl and Sister-in-law: Doris Seefeldt.

      Funeral services will be held on Thursday (January 16, 2020) at 12:00 Noon at Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo. Rev. Denise Kwiatkowski, Pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.

      Visitation will take place at the CHURCH on Thursday morning (Jan 16) from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.

      In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Mary?s name.

      Clarence A. Sackett

      Clarence A. Sackett, 79, of 1537 Alexander Ct., a resident of the Morningside Nursing Home the past two years, died there Saturday afternoon.

      Born in Fond du Lac on Sept. 23, 1894, he was a son of Clarence and Sarah Sackett. He attended school in Fond du Lac.

      During World War I he served in the U.S. Navy.

      On Oct. 15, 1926, he married Helen Hubbard at Sheboygan Falls.

      The couple made their home in Fond du Lac until moving to Sheboygan in 1942.

      Mr. Sackett worked at Armour Leather Co., for 18 years until retiring in 1980.

      He was a member of First Baptist Church and Barracks 2091, Veterans of World War I.

      Surviving are his widow; five sons, Clarence of Keil, William of Manitowoc, Norman of Mabton, Wash., John of Sheboygan, and Harold of Junction City; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Halle of Plymouth, Mrs. Alex (Arline) Konz Jr., Mrs. Richard (Esther) Mueller, Mrs. Frederick (Muriel) Klatt, and Mrs. Jackie (Betty) Machtig, all of Sheboygan; 30 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three brothers, Warren, Las Vegas, Nev., Harold of Fond du Lac, and Clifford of Sheboygan.

      He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, and three grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. Herbert Cross, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

      Friends may call at the Raumm-Ziegler Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday and at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

      Veterans of World War I will hold memorial services at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

      A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Sackett's name for First Baptist Church.

      Helen M. Sackett

      Funeral services for Mrs. Helen M. Sackett, 70, of 1537 Alexander Ct., who died
      Thursday morning at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. Will be held at the First Baptist
      Church at 2 p.m. Saturday.

      The Rev. Oliver Carlson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery.

      Friends may call at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home after 4:30 Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday and at the church from 11 a.m. until time of services.

      A memorial will be established in Mrs. Sackett's name for the First Baptist Church.

      The former Helen Hubbard was born in Sheboygan Falls on Feb. 12, 1906, the daughter of Gheron and Nettle Chase Hubbard. She attended school in Sheboygan Falls.

      On Oct. 15, 1926 she married Clarence Sackett in Sheboygan Falls. The couple lived in Fond du Lac until 1942 when they moved to Sheboygan to make their home.

      Mr. Sackett died In April, 1974.

      Mrs. Sackett was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Ruth Noren Circle and Barracks No. 2091, Veterans of World War I Auxiliary.

      William Sackett

      William Sackett, age 73, of 3613 S. 13th St., Sheboygan, died on Saturday morning, Sept. 7, 2002, at Meadow View Manor Nursing Home in Sheboygan.

      William was born in Fond du Lac on April 9, 1929, a son of the late Clarence and Helen (Hubbard) Sackett Sr. He attended schools in both Fond du Lac and Sheboygan and was employed at Panzer Lumber Company in Sheboygan and in 1962 began employment with Krier
      Canning Company. His family will remember Bill as a kind-hearted person who was always thinking of others and sharing. He was a member of Trinity Alliance Church in Manitowoc, enjoyed playing dartball, was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and loved to do jigsaw puzzles.

      Survivors include four sisters, Mary (August) Grahl of Cascade, Arleene (Alex) Konz, Esther (Benjamin) Stark and Betty (Jack E.) Machtig all of Sheboygan, three brothers, Norman (Ellie) Sackett of Kennewick Wash , John (Rita) Sackett of Sheboygan and Harold (Sherry) Sackett of Apopka, Fla.; nieces, nephews and his many friends at Meadow Manor Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Sackett Jr. and George Sackett and two sisters Helen and Muriel.

      A memorial service will be held for William on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at 7 p.m. at the Chapel of Eternal Light, located in Greenlawn Memorial Park, with the Rev. Steven Rose, pastor of Trinity Alliance Church In Manitowoc, officiating. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

      Friends may call at the chapel, 6706 Superior Ave., on Thursday, from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Due to construction, friends may travel to the chapel through Kohler by taking the Upper Fails Road to the West, off of Hwy. Y in Kohler and proceeding to Woodland Road, taking a right on Woodland Road and proceeding to Superior Ave.; a left turn on Superior Ave. to the chapel on the right hand side.

      A Memorial Fund has been established in Bill's name and also for the American Cancer Society.

      The staff of the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home is serving the family.

      Sackett, John H.

      John H Sackett (Fuzzy), age 79 of Sheboygan, went to be with his lord on May 18th, 2013 at Sheboygan Senior community following a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.

      He was born on January 31st 1934 in the city of Fond du Lac to the late Clarence and Helen Sackett. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School and served in the United States Army in 1956. On August 9th 1980 he was united in marriage to Rita L. Reinartz (Fouts). John worked for 32 years at the Kohler Company engine division until his retirement in 1996.

      John enjoyed camping every summer at Lazy Days camp grounds. John also enjoyed fishing, hunting and was also a member of the Midwest Channel Scanners CB club where he got the name fuzzy. John was a board member of the march of dimes and participated in the jail and bail.

      John is survived by his wife of 33 years Rita, his sons John (Janet) Sackett of Sheboygan, Steven Sackett of Sheboygan, Jeffery Sackett of Akin, North Carolina, and stepson Lawrence (Rhonda) Fouts of Sheboygan Falls. He is further survived by 3 sisters Mary (Augie) Grahl of Cascade, Arliene (Alex) Konz of Sheboygan, and Betty Machtig of Sheboygan. 1 brother Harold (Sheri) Sackett of Broadhead, Ill. and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many friends and relatives.

      In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister George and Helen, 2 sisters Murial Cleft and Esther Stark, and 3 brothers Norman, William, and Clarence Sackett.

      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home., 1132 Superior Ave. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 1 :00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be in Gardens of Peace Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park.

      Miss Hubbard and Clarence Sackett Wed

      Miss Helen Hubbard, daughter of Joseph Hubbard, of Sheboygan Falls, and Clarence R. Sackett, Jr., of Sheboygan Falls, were united in marriage Friday at Sheboygan Falls by Rev. C. D. Mayhew.

      The bride wore a georgette dress and her flowers were pink and white carnations.

      Miss Bertha Sizonen was the bridesmaid and Joseph Marchiando was the groom's attendant.

      Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and carnations were used in the carrying out the decorative scheme. William Hubbard, a brother of the bride, was the out-of-town guest present.

      Mr. and Mrs. Sackett have gone on a wedding trip to the western part of the state and after November 1 will be at home in this city.
