      JULIAN ANTHONY "TONY" - Of Jackson, formerly of Concord, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 at Allegiance Hospice Home. He was surrounded by his loving family and wife of 37 years, Patricia. He was preceded in death by his father, Julian; his mother, Pauline; and his sister, Jeanie. He is survived by a son, Todd (Kari) Best; daughters, Kristin (Kevin) Kingsley, Tracy (Tim) Reid, and Jodi (Scott) Maynard; grandchildren, Linsey, (Andrew) Curtis, Kelsey, Devin, Karley, Garrett, Keegan, Alec, Cameron, Kennedy, Parker, Hayden, Hudson, Marina, Kelsey; two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Madden; sister, Peg Root of Reading, MI, as well as many other loved ones. He worked at Clark Equipment Corporation for 17 years and retired from Barnes Aerospace. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Spartans as well as the Detroit Lions, and Tigers. For 20 years plus, he was a mentor and coach for little league baseball. Tony was a true friend to many and loved to converse. He was a positive person and the goodness in his heart radiated to all. The true love of his life was his devoted wife and loving, close knit family. Tony knew and loved the Lord, and we will all be joined with him again in heaven. A special thanks to Allegiance Hospice for their compassion and support in our family's time of need. A celebration of his life will be held at WATSON FUNERAL CHAPEL, Monday, August 15, at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Michael Geml officiating; interment Jones Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be directed to Allegiance Hospice Home, 2150 Kingsbrooke Dr., Jackson, MI 49202.
